Arts and Sciences Faire
Finish those projects and write that documentation! The Northern Oaken Regional A&S Faire will be held in conjunction with the Baronial Investiture. Volunteer judges and entrants are needed, and must register in advance. Go to http://ans.midrealm.org/faire to register.

A&S 50 Challenge Display
An A&S 50 Challenge Display will be part of the festivities at the North Oaken Arts and Sciences Faire. Challenge participants are invited to display their projects. An entrant need not have completed a project or challenge in order to participate.
Space is limited, so if your projects are large, please bring a representative sample only. Documentation is not required.
The A&S 50 Challenge Display will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be located in the hallway, just beyond Troll. All items must be picked up by 5 p.m. Space will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

“The A&S 50 Challenge involves doing 50 things in the Arts and Sciences between May 1st AS 42/2007 and May 1st AS 50/2015, in honor of the SCA's 50th Birthday. The Challenge is a chance to develop skills and learn more about what interests you in a non-competitive, community-based environment. YOU decide what you want to do over the eight-year span, and get encouragement from the Challenge Community along the way.”

Speed-SCAdian
Speed-SCAdian is a new game, designed as a fun way to introduce people to each other via their personas. Based on the modern concept of Speed Dating, we will have space for up to 32 individuals.
Kingdom Bards' Challenge - Dynamic Duos
Cleftlands' new baronial couple is the result of an arranged marriage of a sort - two people who are not a couple in the modern world who teamed up as an incomparable combo. History and myth are full of examples of other such pairs.
For the final challenge of their tenure as Kingdom Bards under Eikbrandr and Runa, Juliane and Llywelyn challenge the populace to present a tale or song (or dance, or jugging act or ...) of another dynamic duo.
Remember that a challenge is not a contest - the challenge is to yourself, and you win simply by entering.
The location will be either the Rotunda or the Fireside Room.
Dancing
There will be dancing all day long in the beautiful, glass-walled chapel, beginning at 9am. The day will conclude with a Grand Ball.
Youth Activities
There will be a guardian- or adult-supervised play area for children in Baker Hall. Please make sure that your child is supervised at all times.
